Fans of Taylor Swift are feeling quite disturbed due to Taylor-Braun Feud. They love the pop-star and want to listen her past albums. But Swifties won’t let Braun earn Royalities from their act.
Now the question is whether they will feel comfortable to let Scooter make the most from the Past Albums of the Taylor Swift? Especially when Taylor accused him of “incessant, manipulative bullying”. Kelly Clarkson offered a solution to Taylor swift. She came up with a suggestion to re-record and re-release her first albums.
She tweeted:
“@taylorswift13 just a thought, U should go in & re-record all the songs that U don’t own the masters on exactly how U did them but put brand new art & some kind of incentive so fans will no longer buy the old versions. I’d buy all of the new versions just to prove a point”
Scooter Braun has acquired Big Machine Label, now he owned the master recordings of Swift’s entire six albums. He is entitled to collect Royalities on everything she sing before she signed her contract with Universal Music Group in 2018. He is also well-known for Managing Kanye West at the difficult time when Kanye has a bad blood with Swift.
ME! Singer never hesitates to speak out against unfair conditions of Music industry. She might consider Kelly’s suggestion. It is not the first time that someone re-record and re-release their songs jut to get around label ownership. Prince did the same in the past. So, now Taylor can walk on the same road if she wants to. She shouldn’t give up on her past work. What do you think?
