‘Bachelor’ and “Bachelor in Paradise” fan favorite Amanda Stanton is “ashamed and embarrassed” after house arrest. She has been arrested for domestic battery. Stanton made headlines during the 20th season of The Bachelor when she was one of the many women vying for the love of Ben Higgins.

TMZ reports that arrest came after a drunken post-bachelorette party incident with her boyfriend. She had “a few drinks” at party before hotel security confronted Stanton and Bobby after receiving a noise complaint. She was then transported to Clark County Detention Center, where she was booked.

Steve Honig, the representative of former Bachelor contestant, told in a statement, “Amanda is embarrassed and ashamed this happened and sincerely apologizes to hotel security and the Las Vegas Police Department. Amanda is a gentle, respectful person who has never gotten physical with anyone under any circumstance.”

According to her Instagram Story, was aboard a JetSuiteX plane on her way home. She were celebrating a friend’s bachelorette party at the Encore Beach Club inside the Wynn. Stanton was also joined by her boyfriend Bobby Jacobs.

“That evening she had a few drinks at a bachelorette party and when hotel security asked her and Bobby to quiet down, she got a bit rambunctious,” Rep further explained. “Amanda gave Bobby what she thought was a playful shove; hotel security did their job and reported the incident to the police, who in turn did their job.”

TMZ, which first reported the story, now quoted that Stanton was reportedly released on Monday.

She has also briefly dated Robby Hayes and Josh Murray during her appearances on for two seasons Bachelor in Paradise.
