The presidential election conducted on 4th September 2018 in the Parliament of Pakistan. The candidate of PTI Arif Alvi has been elected as the new president of Pakistan with a handsome margin. The Senate and Parliament of Pakistan conducted the presidential election. He earned victorious 212 votes and Fazl-ur-Rehman of MMA was nominated from the opposition of Pakistani Parliament and he earned 131 votes. The candidate of PPP (Pakistan People Party) Aitzaz Ahsan received 81 votes. Total 430 votes were casted and 6 of them were rejected by the election commission of Pakistan.
The all 4-provincial assemblies of Pakistan also conducted presidential election 2018.
The candidate of PTI received 33 votes, Fazl-ur-Rehman of MMA (opposition candidate) received 25 votes, and Aitzaz Ahsan of PPP received just 1 vote from the Punjab Provincial Assembly.
Arif Alvi received 41 votes, Fazl-ur-Rehman received 14 votes, and Aitzaz Ahsan received just 3 votes from the provincial assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The candidate of PPP Aitzaz Ahsan received 39 votes, Arif Alvi was behind him and received 22 votes, and Fazl-ur-Rehman received just 1 vote from the provincial assembly of Sindh.
The new elected President of Pakistan received 45 votes, Fazl-ur-Rehman received 15 votes, but Aitzaz Ahsan was unable to receive even a single vote from the provincial assembly of Baluchistan.
The new elected Pakistani president is the 13th President of Pakistan. He was born on July 29, 1949. He expressed his feelings after winning the presidential election. He said that he is not only the President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf but he is the President of entire nation. He added that his first priority will be providing home and food to the poor community of Pakistan.
