In the Bethesda Press conference, we got some updates about the most anticipated Nuclear Winter Battle Royale mode.
“Nuclear Winter is a brand-new mode in Fallout 76 that pits you against your fellow players like never before.”
“The battle for the role of Vault 51’s Overseer has begun. In Nuclear Winter, you’ll take part in a 52-player fight to the death.”
“Rank up, unlock new and exclusive Perks, deploy a C.A.M.P., and even launch nukes. As the ring of fire closes in, will you be the last one standing?”
As far as the release date of Nuclear Winter is concerned, it will hit the market later this year. The exciting thing is that players would be able to give it a try during the free trial.
When players rise in the ranks, then they would get access to new parts of Vault 51. The challenges come in the Nuclear Winter would be different as compared to that you got in Fortnite.
As soon as the player completes a challenge, he would unlock new workshop items. He can use it with any character and during any game mode.
“Nuclear Winter blends the competitive battle royale style with mechanics only Fallout can provide – from Power Armor and Perk cards to C.A.M.P.s and wasteland creatures,” Bethesda continues.
“Many of these mechanics have been adjusted to better suit this new gameplay mode and map size, including the stats of your weapons, armor, Chems and more.
“And while you can carry your Adventure Mode character into Nuclear Winter, their level doesn’t affect how much damage you can inflict or receive.
“Everyone starts each match on an even playing field. You raise your damage output and increase defensives by tracking down weapons and armor as the match progresses.”
VATS will be capable only on the enemies. Developers also made changes in the C.A.M.P. mechanics. It seems like things are going to get harder and more enjoyable. It is crucial to loot turrets from other players during the game.
