In the spring, Prince Harry and his beautiful wife Meghan will be having a baby. This news is stated after getting an official announcement from Buckingham Palace when the adorable couple reached. They came over here for spending the first royal tour together after marriage. Their destination spots also include Fiji, New Zealand, and Tonga.
Since the media kept sharp eyes on Meghan’s pregnancy possibility. Their interest increased when Meghan reached at the wedding ceremony of Prince Harry’s cousin last Friday. Princess Eugenie being dressed up in an atypically ample blue coat; the couple disclosed a statement saying:
“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019. Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.”
This would be the seventh in line child of the British throne. The order follows Charles, Prince of Wales, father of Prince Harry; Harry’s older brother, Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge; the three young children of William and his wife, Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge; and Harry, himself.
However, as per rules, the newly born royal baby would not get the title of princess or prince.
With reference to a King George V’s decree in 1917, there implies an exception for the great grandchildren of the sovereign to be titled as princess or prince. The eldest offspring would be male in the direct male line. But this rule was revised by Queen Elizabeth in 2012.
