Abel, the artist who melts the hearts of many ladies is finally back. It has been over 2 years since he made a release of his last hit, starboy. This star, unlike many others, has already made his first release for 2019, the hit is trending all over the social media and it goes by the title, “lost in fire.” This hit is a combined effort with a French producer who goes by the name Gessafelstein. This shows how determined he is to grow his career in this New Year. Let’s wish him good luck in this.

Did this song actually meet the fans expectations? Barely days after release, fans have gone into social media bursting him that this song is a diss to Drake.

One of the lyrics in this song says; “And I just want a baby with the right one” he croons “Cause I could never be the one to hide one.” However, there is a slight discrepancy to note over this lyric since the Apple music lists it as “Cause I could never be one to hurt one.” The latter seems less a Drake shade. The history between these two has been rocky since September 2012 when The Weeknd signed in the Republic Records rather than the Drizzy’s label as per Drakes expectations.

By listening to this song, it is evident that The Weeknd new album will be real fire!
