We have been hearing rumors that Chris Pratt is going to be the New Indiana Jones and he is going to replace Harrison Ford. However, this rumor is not true and confirmation comes directly from Harrison Ford.
He made it clear in an interview that nobody will replace Harrison as Indiana Jones, he said “When I’m Gone, He’s Gone”. He unintentionally call Chris Pratt as Chris Pine.
As we know that a new reboot of Indian Jones franchise is in the production and it is going to come in the upcoming years.
“Nobody is gonna be Indiana Jones! Don’t you get it? I’m Indiana Jones. When I’m gone, he’s gone. It’s easy,” Ford, 78, said on the Today show Friday.
“This is a hell of a way to tell Chris Pine this. I’m sorry, man,”
When it comes to action films then name of Pratt is often surfaced. Ford is 78 years old while Pratt is 39 years old. When Disney bought the movie right of Indiana Jones from the Paramount in 2013, then Chris name appeared for the role in 2015. He is young, handsome and talented actor. But Ford is not giving up on his all-time famous role for sure.
Ford is portraying Indiana Jones in four movies such as Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), Temple of Doom (1984), Jing of the Crystal Skull (2008) and The Last Crusade (1989).
Indian Jones fifth installment is going to release in 2021. Ford will reprise his role as Indiana Jones in the movie while Steven Spielberg is the director.
Harrison Ford is playing a good role in Star Wars as Rooster. His upcoming movie The Secret Life of Pets 2 is going to release on June 7.
