Jennifer Lopez is a talented singer, producer, and actress. Many of you recognized her as a judge of American Idol as well. JLo told that when she was making her mind for American Idol, she was threatened not to join the show as a judge. Because if she would do it, then this step is nothing but the death of her career.
The 50-year-old star became the lead judge of reality TV Show “American Idol” in 2011. She signed this deal despite the facts that everyone around him advised her against it.
“I had the kids and wasn’t being offered a whole bunch of stuff. I concentrated on my marriage. I was going around with Marc. I went on two or three tours with him.”
Lopez further revealed that she hoped to change the public perspective about her because she felt unfairly treated in 2002 due to her destructive romance with Ben Affleck.
“It’s probably what kids deal with, with social media now,” she said, “like ‘Everybody hates me.’ No, everybody doesn’t hate you. It’s just a few people writing a few things.”
JLo also shared that directors were used to commenting about her rear, and that was quite frustrating for her. “They would never say to a guy, ‘Your d—k is really big,” she said.
According to Its Hustlers Star, becoming the judge for the show was nothing but a fresh breeze of air in her life because it was a permanent gig that offers her relief; especially at a time when she couldn’t manage her music record label shift well.

“It was a big turning point in my career. Everybody was like, ‘Don’t do this. Your career will be over, and they won’t offer you any movies. They’ll think you’re a joke as an artist,'” Lopez recalled. “And I was like, ‘The truth is, I’m not getting offered a whole bunch of movies, so what are they not going to offer me?'”
The singer was happy to take this big decision about her life without caring about other people warning. Because this decision helps her rebuild her broken public reputation and image.
“You can’t hide on reality TV,” she explained. “And they got to see I was a real, caring person who was actually nice.”

JLo said that “Everything Changed” but that change was positive for her. So, if you have a big opportunity like she had, then try not to hear what others think.
