A political twitter was started between Susan Sarandon and Debra Messing two years ago. It all started when a proud Bernie Sanders supporter Sarandon expressed to vote for Donald Trump than Hillary Clinton.

Round 1

In the round one of feud, 71-year old “Feud” actress described Trump victory as “the revolution,” in March 2016 during her appearance on MSNBC’s All in With Chris Hayes.
The interview went viral and create a controversy. Social media started to react on Twitter which brought Academy Award winner actress inside the hashtag to defend herself.

Sanders’ implicit made Debra Messing extremely angry and impatient.

“Will & Grace” actress, who had supported Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election, wrote in series of tweets, “Susan Sarandon muses tht Trump prezcy wud b better 4 the country thn Hillary. Wonder if she’d say that if she were poor,gay,Muslim or immgrnt.”

Round 2

On Tuesday, Sarandors pushed herself into the second round of her Twitter war with Messing when she said during an interview with Variety that Trump presidency gave an inspiration to women to run for office.

Messings responded back with another tweet which has gone viral. She wrote, “Oh, and lest you forget Syria, Crimea, and putting PRO-RUSSIA agenda BEFORE the United States’ best interests.”

“YES, do go on And LAUD the effect Trump has had. Out of DESPERATION & PANIC for the DESTRUCTION of the Soul of our country,” she added.

Sarandon suggested Messing to listen her again in the video of interview. She wrote, “Debs, before you get yourself all self-righteous try clicking on the video and listening to what I actually say, not @Variety’s clickbait headline”.

Sarandon voted Hillary Clinton’s run for the Senate in 2001. They were seen together several times. Their ‘grinning and chumming’ activities ended when Clinton voted for the war in Iraq.

She, then, told Guardian that she had to change her phone number because Hillary Clinton supporters sent her threatening messages.
