Plot of Altered Carbon Series
The memories and consciousness of a human will transfer in a disk called Cortical stack. This disk implant in the back of the neck. After death, human will appear as human physically but will be synthetic bodies, and this creature called sleeves. So the theme of Altered Carbon means human can live forever.
Moreover, the story follows the adventures and misadventure of the greedy person Takeshi Kovacs. Kovacs is only a surviving soldier of rebel outfits that called Envoys.
While Envoys destroyed 250 years before, and Kovacs brought back to Meth after 300 years ago and Meth is called Laurens Bancroft. He is the wealthiest person in human civilization. After that, Bancroft tries to resolve his murder.
Cast Stars: Joel Kinnaman, Anthony Mackie, James Purefoy, Martha Higareda, Dichen Lachman, Torben Liebrecht, James Saito, Simone Missick, Dina Shihabi.
Jowl Kinnaman plays the role of Takeshi Kovacs in season one. Meanwhile, in season 2 Anthony Mackie comes as Takeshi Kovacs. While James Purefoy plays the role of Laurens Bancroft.
Several new characters will introduce in season 2, and many old will return in the new season 2. Furthermore, Torben Liebrecht will play the role of Colonel Ivan Carrea.
Altered Carbon Season 2 Release Date
Netflix brought the first season of Altered Carbon on 1st February 2018. As well as show renewed it on 27 July 2018.
Now, the good news for Altered Carbon series fans is that Netflix released a video on 22 February 2019. According to it, Altered Carbon Season 2 production is on the way.
However, the final date is not free yet, but, it is expecting that season 2 will release soon in November or December 2019. Many rumors are saying it will come in early 2020.
