After watching the Sonic the Hedgehog first trailer, a lot of fans of this blue sonic speed character started criticizing. They don’t like the design of Sonic and director of the show consider this criticism and now this teethy character will be redesigned.
If I am honest then the first trailer wasn’t that bad, it was fun to watch the sonic movements. How he dodged the missiles of Dr.Edggman and how he ran fast to turn car upside down. Fans didn’t completely dislike the trailer. They simply don’t like the design of their favorite high-speed video game star. The main problem is the “Teeth”.
On Twitter, people start calling Sonic the Hedgehog movie star “Teethy” and “Nightmarish”.
On many forums, fans discussed this trailer and dislike the teeth of Sonic as he looks like a bad toy which no one likes to play with. The main impression of our super-fast childhood character got spoiled by the designers somehow.
According to Guardian, the main character “ resembles a cheap knock-off Sonic toy your child might win at a fairground stand and then be terrified of”.
Jeff Fowler –movie director –responded to bad response on Twitter. He said, “
The message is loud and clear… you aren’t happy with the design & you want changes. It’s going to happen. Everyone at Paramount & Sega are fully committed to making this character the BEST he can be…”
Now the major problem with the Sonic main character has got a solution. Fans of this fastest video-game character are definitely feeling some relief. They can get a new design which will surely be based on video-game character. What do you say?
