Lucifer Season 4

Tom Ellis confirms the release date of Lucifer on 8th May 2019 after the popular demand of fans through a Twitter campaign. He took it to his account to share the good news with his followers through a tiny teaser.

The drama was previously aired on Fox and Amazon Prime Video for various parts of the world. Now, it will only air on Netflix, one platform for everyone globally. It is more likely that the show will be on aired next year on the same date it was canceled.
The season will have two parts with a total of 10 episodes.

The star cast released by Netflix includes same old prominent faces like Tom Ellis, Lauren German, and Inbar Lavi. Neil Gaiman created the role of Lucifer first for The Sandman comic-book series previously. The lead character of Lucifer will remain the same. It will be a fantasy drama about the devil, Lucifer Morningstar. The idea is, Lucifer gets bored in hell and thinks of doing more evil outside the box as he joins LAPD. Since he has supernatural powers, he can manipulate humans quite well.

How did #SaveLucifer Campaign Save the Show
So after FOX decided to cancel the show in May 2018, the fans started pouring out on Twitter protesting the decision. They ran a campaign with #SaveLucifer for someone to notice what they want and Netflix, like always, saved the day. The campaign had received a massive response.
