Damon Lindelof has decided to stay with HBO, and therefore he is working on another TV series “Watchmen” for the network after “The Leftovers.” We all have enjoyed the finale of The Leftovers on the network, and it was excellent. Watchmen is directed by Nicole Kassell while he is also working as an executive producer alongside Damon Lindelof, Stephen Williams, Tom Spezialy and Joseph Iberti.
What is its Plot?
Watchmen is an upcoming American TV series which is based on 1986 legendary novel/ comic book limited series of the same name by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons. Its synopsis read as “In an alternate history, superheroes are treated as outlaws.”
When it was asked from Lindelof about the upcoming series, he made it clear that he won’t adopt the twelve issues created by Mr.Moore and Mr.Gibbons thirty years ago, sacred grounds are the main problems which won’t be touched. The problems will be remixed , though they neither recreated nor rebooted.
He called the twelve points Old Testament. He said, ”When the New Testament came along, it did not erase what came before it…it all happened. Moreover, so, it will be with Watchmen.”

At this time, we don’t get any official release date from HBO. It is possible that a network will surprise it. It is possible that the series will release in fall 2019, based on a smart guess.
